Description:

Many of us use the words "informed choice" during our childbirth education classes. But, what does informed choice really mean? In most cases, choice is merely an illusion, and not true informed consent. How do we teach informed choice in our childbirth classes? Are we teaching our students to be informed consumers, or are we teaching them to be compliant patients?
