Track: Other

Session Number: 1039
Date: Fri, Apr 12th, 2019
Time: 4:45 PM - 5:00 PM

Description:

The concept of sexuality is often absent from education for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This workshop seeks to reclaim the rich experience of sexuality during the childbearing year. The presenter is uniquely qualified to address this issue; she has over 40 years of experience with Lamaze International well as certifications in sexuality education and sexuality counseling from AASECT. Her extensive experience surrounding LGBTQAI inclusion adds cutting edge concepts for today’s childbirth educator. The keynote will empower birthing women and their partners to embrace their sexuality.
